Toyota Debuts Five Lifted Woodland Concepts at 2026 SEMA
Toyota unveiled five rugged Woodland concept vehicles at the 2026 SEMA Show, expanding its off-road styling to SUVs, a minivan, and its electric bZ model, with the 2027 bZ Woodland starting at $45,380.

Toyota unveiled five lifted Woodland concept vehicles at the 2026 SEMA Show to showcase off-road styling across its lineup. The concepts, displayed at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 3, include the Sienna Woodland, Grand Highlander Woodland, RAV4 Woodland, bZ Woodland, and Crown Signia Woodland.
Design and Styling Features
The concepts share a distinctive Horizon Blue exterior finish inspired by 1960s Toyota models. Each vehicle features a lift kit, large over-fenders, satin-black wheels, and all-terrain tires. Roof racks, cross bars, and an exclusive Woodland badge complete the rugged, adventure-ready appearance.
This design language is applied across diverse vehicle types, from a family minivan to a battery-electric SUV. The aim is to show that off-road capability and styling are not limited to one powertrain type.
Electric Vehicle Capability
The bZ Woodland concept demonstrates Toyota's commitment to battery-electric off-road capability with standard all-wheel drive and enhanced ground clearance. The 2027 Toyota bZ Woodland comes standard with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain delivering 375 horsepower, an increase of 37 hp over the standard AWD model.
It adds 8.3 inches of ground clearance and a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. The electric SUV includes features like X-Mode for traction optimization and Grip Control for power modulation. Toyota has not announced specific battery changes or range figures for the concept.
The 2027 bZ Woodland will be offered in two trims with the following starting prices:
| Model & Trim | Starting Price | Key Feature |
|---|---|---|
| 2027 bZ Woodland (Base) | $45,380 | Dual-motor AWD, 375 hp |
| 2027 bZ Woodland (Premium) | Price not specified | Includes all Base features plus upgrades |
The starting price is more than $10,000 above the standard bZ model.
Model Lineup Expansion
The concepts apply Woodland styling to a broad range of vehicles. The Sienna Woodland Concept gives the hybrid minivan a rugged makeover with lifted suspension and chunky tires, transforming an eight-seater into a vehicle for mild off-roading.
The RAV4 Woodland Plug-in Hybrid Concept combines electrified driving with an adventurous appearance. The Grand Highlander Woodland and Crown Signia Woodland Concepts apply the same design language to a larger family SUV and a premium crossover, respectively.
Toyota stated the concepts show how capability can take many forms, including plug-in hybrid, hybrid, and battery electric. The company has not confirmed future production plans for any of the Woodland concepts. The 2026 SEMA Show runs from November 3, with public access starting November 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
